A Softer Landing

It’s Friday, and honestly, this week felt like a blur — a little chaotic, a little magical, and full of moments that made me stop and rethink what kind of energy I want to carry with me.

Lately I’ve noticed there’s been a weird heaviness floating around online. Negativity where positivity was meant. Comments that had no reason to exist other than to stir something up. And it made me wonder…

Why are so many people choosing the darker option when the lighter one is right there?

But what I’ve realized is this:

Some people don’t know how to hold light.

It burns their eyes.

It exposes the things they haven’t healed.

And instead of softening into it, they react.

I’m learning not to take that personally.

This space — Fall But Once — is built on gentleness, intuition, island rhythms, creativity, and a little magic. It’s meant to be a safe corner where art can breathe, where people can find hope, where the ferry winds and forest quiet can be felt through the screen.

So on this Friday, I’m choosing to focus on what is working:

🌿 The way people reach out for readings when they need comfort or clarity

🎨The art that’s flowing in my studio, even on the messy days

🐾The animals curled at my feet reminding me of simple goodness

🌙The spiritual nudges that show up at the right time

💬The people who show up for community, even when the world feels heavy

It’s easy to let negativity overshadow the little magic moments, but I won’t let it decide the tone of my life — or this community.

As the week closes, I want to ask you something:

What’s one thing you want to release before the weekend begins?

And what’s one thing you want to call in?

Let it be small. Let it be gentle.

Sometimes the tiniest shift is exactly enough.

Here’s to a weekend full of softness, good energy, and the kind of moments that make you exhale deeper than you expected.
